1) To understand how to access the technical configuration of an automated scenario, go to the “My campaigns” section then choose “Automated scenarios” from the drop-down menu provided.
2) A window opens in which you will find all of your automated scenarios.
3) To access the technical configuration parameters of an automated scenario, create a new scenario by clicking on the button “Choose this workflow” (scenario “Partir de rien”).
4) A new window opens on the technical configuration parameters of your scenario.
Type of scenario
Marketing
Choose “Marketing” if you want your script to be subject to marketing pressure.
This means that your scenario will have to respect the rules determined during the configuration of your marketing pressure.
To learn more about marketing pressure, see our article How do “Marketing pressure settings” work?
Transactional
If you choose “Transactional”, your scenario will not be subject to any marketing pressure.
Single trigger
Yes
By clicking on “Yes”, a small window opens and offers you two additional options: Visitor or Session.
Visitor
This means that a given visitor will only trigger your automated scenario once.
If he disconnects and returns to your site, your scenario will not trigger again.
Session
This means that your scenario is triggered each time a visitor makes a new session on your site.
Unlike the “Visitor” option, your automated scenario can be triggered several times for a visitor leaving and then returning to your site.
No
If you choose “No”, your scenario will have no display restrictions and will therefore be likely to be triggered several times for the same visitor.
Schedule date ranges during which the workflow will be active
This feature allows you to schedule your scenarios and only make them active for a specific period.
This feature can be particularly useful for activating scenarios related to promotions or a one-time commercial event during the year.
To schedule a given date range, simply select a start date and an end date in the calendar present in this feature.
It's your turn !
