Our automation plans are based on the number of monthly page views measured on your site. There can be a significant difference between the page views detected by ShopiMind and those reported in Google Analytics (GA4).
Many users use extensions like uBlock Origin, Adblock, Ghostery, etc.
These blockers often prevent Google Analytics from loading, which results in under-reported page views in GA.
This can represent up to 30% of lost page views depending on your audience.
When a visitor clicks on a link in a mobile app (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, etc.), the page opens in a built-in browser (WebView).
This browser often blocks cookies and/or the Google Analytics script.
Result: no page views are counted in GA, but ShopiMind detects it (notably via image, pixel, or server call).
GA only counts a page view when its script has fully loaded.
If the visitor leaves the page quickly, or if the loading is slow (3G, VPN, etc.), the visit is not counted in GA.
With GDPR, many sites wait for user consent before enabling Google Analytics.
If the visitor doesn't click "Accept", GA is never enabled.
ShopiMind can count these views GDPR-compliantly through anonymous server-side methods or without cookies.
Some pages on the site (like checkout funnels, custom landing pages, etc.) don't always include the GA script.
If GA is not present on these pages, they are never counted on Google's side.
GA4 applies estimation models, sampling, and automatically filters certain traffic considered as "invalid."
You might lose data without even knowing it.
